Brian Francis

     Brian was born to Christian and Frances Francis on 17 July 1942 and had seven siblings viz. Percy, Esme’, Sydney, Veronica, Neville, Denise and Steven; Veronica is the only surviving sibling. Brian married Una Carelse on 22 January 1964 and had four children, namely, Hugh, Ashley, Garth and Gaynor over a period of nine years. Hugh married Angela and had one child, Tamryn, but also adopted Angela’s daughter, Rene’; he then married Janine and had one child, Brad. Ashley married Bonita and had two children, Chanel and Dillon. Garth married Cindy and had two daughters, Gabby and Camryn. Gaynor married Grant and had two daughters, Kirsten and Jade. Tamryn, the eldest grandchild, married Faiyaz and had two daughters, Israh and Farrah.

       Brian is testament to a respected, values-driven, loving and kind-hearted man. He has been a father figure to many who knew him and the heart of many a good party. He will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to have met him but his legacy will live on forever.
